Leonardo DiCaprio buys island
Leonardo DiCaprio is buying his own island in the Caribbean. DiCaprio plans to build an environment-friendly resort on the 104-acre Blackadore Caye off the coast of Belize. Blackadore has white sand beaches, rocky outcrops and coconut trees.
The Caye is located between the Belize mainland and Ambergris Caye. A map can be found here. Ambergris Caye has a number of resort hotels and mainly serves tourists eager to dive at the famous Belize Barrier Reef.
Emerald Futures Real Estate has an extensive description of the property, including photos. There is no word on how much the island cost.

As a Belizean, I dont think it was a bright idea selling this Island. Due to the fact that we are losing wildlife and sorts. Yes it will bring income and jobs but it is a heritage that we cannot sell just like that.
