I Vuelta a Playa Blanca, 30th January 2010
If you are in Playa Blanca this week you’ve more than likely seen one or more of the handbikes on the roads around the resort. This Saturday the 30th January 2010 sees the first event of the “Vuelta a Playa Blanca” which is a 10 lap race of 2.1km per lap in a circuit of Playa Blanca. The “Vuelta Playa Blanca” has been organised by Stefan Lange, Errol Marklein and José Angel Vasquez from the “Association to Promote Tourism and Sport Without Barriers” with the help and co-operation from Kenneth Gasque from Club La Santa who directs major sports events on the island such as the Lanzarote Ironman.
