A Volcanic Mud Bath in Colombia

Who would have thought that lying in a pool of thick gray mud would be one of the highlights of my trip to Colombia? ? But there I was, in the crater of a small volcano, floating on a column of mud that stretched a mile and a half down into the Earth, thinking this was certainly one of the more unusual experiences in my life.
